Xebia India is currently looking for the  people in the following roles:

 

IBM Portal Specialist

 

IBM Portal specialist will have over 5 years experience in Java/J2EE programming. He/She should be independently able to initiate a Portal Project and lead a team of developers.

 

Required Background

 

  1. B. Engg, B. Tech, MCA or M.Sc. (Comp Sc.) or higher
  2. At least 2 years experience in WebSphere and Linux
  3. At least 3 years experience in WebSphere Portal development, portal security, personalization, performance, and configuration
  4. At least 3 years experience in Web UI design and development in Java, Servlet, JSP, Javascript, HTML, XML, Stylesheet, JSF, AJAX, LDAP and Web Services
  5. Familiar with Agile Software Development using Methods such as Scrum and eXtreme Programming.
  6. Very good communication skills both written and oral

 

 

Java Developer

 

Java Developer will have over 5 years experience in Java/J2EE programming. He/She should be independently able to initiate a Portal Project and lead a team of developers. Java Developer should demonstrate passion for programming.

 

Required Background

 

  1. B. Engg, B. Tech, MCA or M.Sc. (Comp Sc.) or higher
  2. At least 3 years experience in WebSphere, Weblogic, JBoss and Tomcat
  3. At least 3 years experience in the development of front end and back end components of J2EE applications
  4. Solid grasp of Design Patterns, OO Concepts
  5. Sound knowledge of recent developments in Enterprise Java
  6. Sound understanding of Test driven development and Continuous Integration
  7. Familiarity with Agile software development
  8. Strong communication skills
  9. Quality Focused mindset

Technical Architect

A proven professional with a passion for programming technology.


As a Technical Architect you design and develop applications that able the business to respond to changing demands a fast and effective way. You will be working in a team of highly capable individuals that designs and develops software application for our customers based in US and Europe. You will play a leading role in our project, product development or product improvement teams . You will contribute in knowledge sharing by writing blogs and articles as well as speak in internal and external events. You will use Distributed Agile methods and Enterprise Java to develop state-of-art solutions for our customers. You will develop good knowledge of Agile Practices and methods such Scrum and XP , and work in self organizing teams.

Required Background

 

  1. You have more than total 7 years of experience in software development.
  2. Experience of 2 years or more in the position of technical architect in Enterprise Java software development projects.
  3. Able to work as a tehnical lead
    Good understanding of several software development methodologies such as Waterfall, RUP and Agile.
    Recent Hands-on programming experience. 
  4. Familiar with several open source products used in Enterprise Java Environments.
  5. Seen as the technical leader in his present job by his team and peers.
    Good communication skills both written and oral.
    Eager to grow to the role of thought leader and gain visibility in the software community
    Experience with Java, Enterprise Java and/or open source products (Struts,Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat, JBoss, MySQL, Ant, Maven, CVS, Eclipse) and expert knowledge of OO. Experience with application servers (IBM WebSphere, BEA Weblogic Server, JBoss).
